Bollywood’s leading actresses may bitch Katrina Kaif out, they may say her 20-minute role in Prakash Jha’s Raajneeti may not amount to much, but the filmmaker is over the moon with the actress. And, so grateful is Jha, that he does not want to hold a success party for the film on June 23, because Kat is not available on that date. The actress, who gave her 10th hit with Jha’s film, is in Spain shooting for Zoya Akhtar’s Zindagi Milegi Na Dobara with Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar and Abhay Deol. And Jha, who is being pressurised by others who contributed to his film’s success to throw a celebratory bash, is reluctant to ‘party’ without his leading lady. Kat, reasons the filmmaker, worked really hard through the shooting and was the only star constant at every press conference.

So, what’s to be done? If sources are to be believed, Jha’s actually planning to send a film unit to Spain to record Katrina’s message on the success of the film. And this audio-visual will be played back to guests at the success party. Bollywood hasn’t seen anything like this before. Said a top actress cattily, “I hope Katrina’s message is not as long as her role in the film!”
